CARNFORTH HERITAGE VISITOR CENTRE
On Wednesday 30th September 2026, Tower Enforcement advised the Trust that one of the officers of the Snug Micropub had informed him that they had their lease terminated as a Trust officer was to place a relative in residence.
The Heritage Centre is able to confirm this has never been the case but the Trust and the Heritage Centre are extremely pleased to announce the operators of the ‘Barlick Tap’ are in active discussions to take over the operation following a major deep clean and full modernisation of Unit 6 and the accompanying toilet facilities at Carnforth Station.
The new operator is to open a Micropub which will be called the ‘Carnforth Tap.’
